The latest issue of first break reviews the EAGE Local Chapter London webinar presented by Mark Vardy of SAND Geophysics: “In search of the quantitative ground model: The good, the bad and the ugly in site investigation”.
As stated in first breaks overview of the event: “Vardy described the cultural shift towards more effective integration of data from the different disciplines that historically would be isolated having little effective inter-communications. A key element of developing these so-called ‘quantatative ground models’ is making greater use of all available geological, geotechnical and geo-physical data.“
The webinar was attended by a wide range of industry professionals and academics, with over 70 in virtual attendance and plenty of interesting questions being posed to Dr.Vardy towards the end of the session.
